풍경화, 영화, 패션, 광고까지 예술과 창작이 더 이상 독특함이나 창의성이 아닌
평균과 진부함에 의존하고 있고
그래서 평균의 시대라고 했다.
◉ 평균의 시대
설문조사 결과를 반영해 각 국에 최적화된 작품을 만들었고, 이렇게 만들어진 작품들은 '사람들의 선택(People's Choice)'이란 제목 아래 하나의 예술 시리즈가 되었고, 이는 나라마다 문화가 다른 만큼, 나라별 예술에 대한 관점의 차이가 드러날 것으로 기대했음.
모든 국가에서의 결과가 거의 똑같았음.

즉, 우리는 각자 개성을 존중하고 중요한 시대라고 말하지만 실제로 우리 대부분은 서로 지나치게 닮아있음. 모든게 다 평균화되는 모습.

우리를 둘렀고 있는 거의 모든 것이
모두 평균에 수렴하고 있음.
이 모든 영역에서
동질성, 몰개성이 드러나고 있음.
자신의 개성을 강조하기 위한

인스타 피드에서의 사진들도
사실 똑같은 방식일 뿐.
평균의 시대는
변화하는 시대의 생존 가능성을 점점 낮추기 때문에 위험함.
이 평균에서 조금만 벗어나는👽
조금의 용기와 대담함만 가진다면
이 시대의 모든 기회를 가질 가능성을 갖게 될 듯.
두려워하지말고
각자 갈 길을 차분히 그리고 담대하게 걸어가자.
